St.Paul, MN

Looking back at my last blog post, it has been a while (sorry, Hannah). But, I’m glad I am back to writing; it made me think about my work, improve and make myself aware.

And that brings me to what I want to talk about in this blog: mistakes.

Mistakes happen to me all the time. Either from forgetting to change the name of a person or a company on an email template, spelling on an email, or telling a customer some wrong info, it happens. …

Still waiting for the Baremetrics Bear

So obviously, I have missed more than a couple of weeks. Even though I said that I wouldn’t, yeah, that’s on me. No excuses but work have been very busy, plus with things outside of work. With that being said, it’s going to be a short one but leads into what I want to talk about. Not about sales or the daily work life, but figuring out how to handle a crazy schedule with a lot of work.

So no more promises on when I’m going to post, but I will try to stay consistent on this end!

What’s Been Going On

Let’s say…

I need this

First, I want to apologize for missing last week’s blog. I’ve been a bit busy lately! But luckily, week three and four of my time at Baremertics have been similar. To make it up, I want to give you guys a little insight into my time with Praxis this upcoming week. So let’s dive in!

Also, if you are new, here are my last two posts for a little backstory:

After finishing up my second week at Baremetrics, working as an inbound SDR, I wanted to see how I can improve. My email rate wasn’t as big as I wanted…

Yogi Bear chillin

At first, I thought I was going to use these weekly check-ins as a recap. But I decided to write this more like a journal… Talking about my ups and downs, roadblocks, exciting times, etc.

Well, this week wasn’t as fun as I would have liked it to be, but that’s life in the real world. Not every single week or day is going to be rainbows. Instead of pulling out the little violin, I had to look at it as more of a learning process and a way to grow.

It started on Wednesday. I hit a roadblock when…

Baremetrics Bear I guess lol

Well, finally, I made it! It wasn’t pretty by any means, but I got placed. If you don’t know what I am talking about, here’s a little back story:

In November of 2019, I decided to leave school halfway through my junior year to join Praxis. It was a huge decision, but I felt it was my best move to make in life. ( And so far, it has paid off) Praxis is a business boot camp that lasts about a year. From there, in the Bootcamp, you learn skills in customer success, sales, marketing, and lots more.

I got…

Minneapolis Skyline

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been able to be part of the Hapday B2B Sales Bootcamp. There we learn the different tools and techniques of sales. We have had great mentors come in and talk to us as startups get to ask questions and help sales go up or grow as a company.

As I did last time I want to tell you guys about what we learned in the boot camp itself and also my experience with working with a startup company doing my first real-world task (first in sales too)

Here is the link to…

A couple of months ago, I decided to leave college and joined a business focused college alternative program called Praxis.( https://discoverpraxis.com/ ) Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have made as I have had the opportunity to learn the business world, both the ins and outs, from sales, marketing, and customer success leaders. With this program, I got an opportunity to join the Hapday Groups B2B Sales Bootcamp. At the boot camp, I am learning inside trades and advice on how to be great at sales in the startup community.

As we are now at the…

Image from Facebook Ads

For the past month, I worked on running a couple of ads on Facebook and seeing what it can do for my family business. Heavenly Feast BBQ is a family and friend company that has been around since I was 10 years old. We do mostly fairs and events around Minnesota, and recently we had a huge event called Holidazzle. It is the biggest Christmas carnival-type fair in Minnesota, which got us a lot of buzz through newspapers, social media, and even an appearance on WCCO News. …

So for the past month, I have been working on a project. My project as been creating a Facebook Ad campaign for my family company, Heavenly Feast BBQ. This was for my program called Praxis, which is a different way of learning and growing in the business world. But I’m mostly doing this to gain experience and knowledge on doing a program and project for a company. Here is an update on Week 3 of the project. I took a little bit more about the project in my intro to the project and my first update blog.

Here are the…
